Growing up my father and mother always stresed the importance of being able to “do without”, by having time alone or without my social media. At first, I thought that this wasn’t fair; I wanted to be able to have a facebook or an instagram like the other girls in my class. However, since I didn’t have one, I found other ways to occupy myself without a sister, man, friend, or any electronics… I would write stories, multiple stories. All I needed was a pen and some paper and I had the world. I find it crazy how now I’m able to access social media, but I just don’t want it, for it is time consuming and toxic.

By living this simple life I have become more independent, because I don’t rely on a electronic device to entertain me. I find more time to invest and take care of myself without any complications.

Simplicity is key…

And I have it.
